The First Discovery: My Ideal Self — Who Do I Want to Be?

Chapter 6, Becoming a Resonant Leader – The Five Discoveries introduces Boyatzis’s theory of self-directed learning. Chapter 7, The Motivation to Change elaborates on the First and Second Discoveries. Chapter 8, Metamorphosis – Sustaining Leadership Change covers the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Discoveries. Use the ideas in these chapters to help you delve deeper into your own discoveries and assist you in articulating your thoughts for the Personal Development Plan.

The Personal Development Plan must have an Introduction and a Conclusion section, a real beginning and end.
